How to check the PF Balance


Let us discuss how to check the PF Balance in EPFO Portal  In order to check your PF balance you must log in to the EPFO portal using your UAN number and password.

After reading this article you will get a very clear understanding of how to check the PF Balance, how to download your PF passbook and how to check your PF claim status online.

In case if you are not activated your UAN yet you can activate it here.

As I said you can do the following tasks in the PF India portal of epfo login for employees.

  • Check the PF balance.
  • Download the PF passbook.
  • Check your PF claim withdrawal status. 

In google search just type the text as shown in the below image. Once you click on the first URL you will be redirected to the EPFO India portal.

As shown in the below image you must enter your UAN number, Password, and Captcha to verify your authentication.

Once you login to the PF portal you could see a message Passbook is available here at the bottom of the page. Just click on the option highlighted below.

Now here again it will ask for your UAN, Password, and Captcha to verify your authentication. After you enter the below information just click on the login option.

As soon as you login you could see 3 options available for you. Just select your desired option and then double click on it.

Here you are required to select your PF account number in case you have multiple PF accounts you should select one and proceed.

In case you choose View Passbook as your option, you could see your PF balance available for you as shown in the below image.

If you would like to download your PF passbook you can choose download passbook option. Once you click on this option you will be asked to download the PF passbook document.

How to check the PF Claim Status?

In order to check your PF Claim status, you must click on the View Claim Status option. This will show you the list of claim orders that were placed. Select the one and click on ok.
